THE SAMPLE ROOM - RESTOCK We've released a new batch into The Sample Room - a place where we periodically drop a collection of sizing boots from our shop. By having these boots available to customers, it offers us three opportunities: A customer may love the style and configuration and it's in their known size, so happy days, they can order and have the product immediately (rather than waiting our current wait time of 26 weeks for made-to-order footwear)   They can be used as mail-out fitting samples for someone to try on who can't make it in store to test their fit, and then exchange it for the boot/size of their choice.   It gives us the chance to freshen our shop stock so that we continue to display current leathers, soles and details. These boots will be available online and instore. There is only one of each product listed, so it's first in best dressed. Prices listed are for the particular Sample Room boot and reflect the age and condition of the boot. Please note they will be posted a week from ordering. POP-UP IN FITZROY, MELBOURNE | PPHH x WOOTTEN It's that time of the year again (it only happens four times a year!) We'll be hanging out in the PPHH Fitzroy shop on Gertrude Street from 1pm -4pm Sunday 26th October and bringing the following fitting stock for people to try the styles below: Smith Boots Gordon Boots Charlie Boots (Charlie toe) Lo-Dub Sneakers Jack Gusset Boots (Stanley E last) If you've been meaning to visit us but haven't made it down to the workshop, this is a great chance to see our boots in person and get sized up — all whilst waltzing down one of the coolest streets in town. GALOTZ CELLAR DOOR We've just begun bottling the latest batch of wine from the 2025 vintage. A Nero d'Avola sourced from Heathcote. Nero d'Avola is a traditionally Sicilian red grape variety that has come to thrive in the warmer areas of southern Australia and retains its excellent natural acidity.  Krys has named this latest batch Unmarked, in honour of her late cousin Mark, who suddenly passed earlier this year. He was a selfless chap who was always there to lend a hand and loved getting involved in making things, whether it was wine, salami or any other family tradition.  To launch the new vintage, we are planning on having a mini cellar door at the Ballarat shop on Sunday 16th November, for both trying on boots and having a taste of wine. Teik has a prolific Youtube channel called Bootlosophy, guiding viewers around the world on all sorts of boot brands and things to look out for. LOST TRADES FAIR 2026 Book your tickets early.  The Lost Trades Fair will be celebrating it's new location at Hanging Rock in 2026. Also note the date. The LTF was normally held on the Labour Day long weekend in March. Next year it will be held in the last weekend of March, the 28th and 29th. SHOP HOURS - EXTENDED FOR NOV/DEC Our regular shop hours are: Friday and Saturday 10 - 4 However for November and December in the lead up to Christmas we will open the shop up also on Thursdays from 10-4 also. The first Thursday open will be November 6th 2025. Our last week of the year will be the 18th, 19th and 20th of December. We then close for Christmas and Summer Holidays and won't be back open until Friday 16th January back to our normal Friday/Saturday shop day hours.
