Whilst Krys is busy keeping a newborn happy, Jess and Matt will be setting up camp at the PPHH Fitzroy shop on Gertrude Street.

We’d love you all to meet Bo Bertie Wootten — the latest addition to the Wootten family. She’s a bit of all right, and sure, we might be biased, but that’s part of the gig when you’re completely smitten. There’s already a whole lot of love, noise and gentle chaos wrapped around her, and she seems perfectly content to take her place in the mix.
The last few weeks have been a blur of adrenaline, awe and that strange suspended time that only seems to exist around new babies. Through all of it, Krys has been nothing short of extraordinary — mama to Quincy and now to Bo, and the hardest‑working sidekick a shoemaker could ever hope for. She’s already back in the shop when possible and once again providing support to those new in the team, somehow balancing it all with the same courage and steadiness she’s shown these past weeks.

Introducing the Gordon Original Service Boot, now available in two additional colourways: Teak and Cocoa – each bringing its own personality to a house favourite.
The Cocoa version is made from locally tanned Victorian bovine leather in a deep, dark‑brown hue. The Teak version comes in a milk‑chocolate shade, offering a softer, warmer expression of the Gordon silhouette.
Both are fully lined Derby boots built from thick yet surprisingly supple leather – durable from day one and designed to mould, soften, and age beautifully with the wearer. Each pair is hand‑finished in‑house, giving the leather its depth and richness.
Underfoot, the Gordon is anchored by a McKay‑welted sole for long‑term support and resilience, paired with a black nitrile rubber outsole made locally in South Australia. Tough, dependable, and ready for whatever your week throws at it.

It’s the bigger sibling to our Overnighter – roomy enough to pack for a full long weekend without feeling like you’re hauling half your house around. We've got four left made up ready to ship.
Made from full‑grain, vegetable‑tanned leather, this bag means business. The base is fully leather‑lined for extra strength, and the pleated top opens wide so you can actually see (and reach) what you’ve packed. Inside, you’ll find a secure pocket finished with solid brass hardware, right down to the brass‑zippered compartment.
It comes with sturdy handles, plus a reinforced leather shoulder strap crafted from contrasting Italian leather strapping – because looking good and carrying well should always go hand in hand.
It can also work as a carry‑on bag for short flights (best to check with your flight provider).

Recently the Country Style team captured our little world with a warmth that feels incredibly special — the workshop humming along, the leather and tools scattered in that perfectly imperfect way, and the sense of family woven through every corner of what we do. Seeing it all reflected back through someone else’s lens has been a bit surreal in the best way. It’s a reminder of how much heart goes into this place, and how much of that heart comes from the people who walk through our doors.
Thank you so much to everyone who’s read the piece, reached out, and shown support for our growing family business. Your messages, visits and kind words have meant more than you know. As I joked in the article, “we’re doubling everything!” — and let me tell you, there’s a fair bit of work happening behind the scenes to make that true.
Between the workshop, the little ones, and the steady hum of new ideas, it feels like we’re building something bigger than ourselves — something stitched together with a lot of heart, a lot of late nights, and a whole lot of community support. It’s messy, it’s busy, and it’s ours. And to think, all of this was captured sometime back at the end of last year, before the latest wave of beautiful chaos rolled in.

Introducing the Q‑Jumper range.
It’s designed for anyone who loves our Ready‑To‑Wear Originals but sits outside the standard in‑stock sizing. To help with our current lead times, we’ve come up with this as a faster pathway for those wanting an Original‑style boot without the full Heritage wait.
Q‑Jumpers are still made‑to‑order, but because they use the same limited options as our Originals, they move through production more quickly. They’re added to the same racks as Originals, with an estimated turnaround of 6–10 weeks depending on demand.
They’re not in stock, but they do get your boots to you sooner.
