TEAM NITE TAKES ON THE DARTMOOR COMMANDO SHUFFLE 30-MILER

Four men. Thirty miles across Dartmoor.
One legendary military endurance challenge.

Sponsored by NITE Watches, Team NITE took on the Dartmoor Commando Shuffle 30-Miler, testing their endurance, teamwork and determination across demanding Dartmoor terrain.

The four-man team - NITE Maverick and content creator Gareth de la Torre, Ben Tench, Richard Hancock and Jim - spent months preparing for the challenge, carrying loaded Bergens and pushing themselves to the limit.

A WIN FOR TEAM NITE
Despite a navigation error costing valuable time, the team refused to let the setback define their day. They kept moving, supporting one another every step of the way. Team NITE went on to win the event, finishing almost two hours ahead of their nearest competition.

With its roots in the Commando tradition, the 30-Miler embodies courage, determination, unselfishness and cheerfulness in the face of adversity.

For Gareth, the challenge added another chapter to an impressive endurance journey, including three loaded London Marathons, three Fan Dance events and a Winter Fan Dance podium finish.

The civilian event also supports the RMA, The Royal Marines Charity, helping serving and former Royal Marines and their families.

For NITE Watches, Team NITE’s achievement is a powerful reminder of what the Maverick spirit represents: pursuing extraordinary challenges, supporting one another and refusing to be defined by limitations.
