Stage 11 took Race Crew from Panama to Washington, DC, USA. After transiting the Panama Canal and re-entering the Atlantic Ocean, the fleet headed north through the Caribbean and along the east coast of North America towards the United States capital.
A mix of conditions, from warm tropical sailing and light winds to more complex coastal weather systems further north. Crews had to adapt, making tactical decisions as they navigated busy shipping areas and changing wind patterns on the approach to the Chesapeake Bay.

Setting sail on the final leg crews will race Stage 12, Washington, DC to Oban Scotland across the North Atlantic and then Oban to Portsmouth, UK where racing ends!
While this might be the homeward bound leg for the fleet, there is plenty of racing still to be enjoyed. First place overall has been decided on the final race of this leg on more than one occasion.
