Racing with Dolphins!

All the teams have made it to Punta del Este, Uruguay, to a warm fiesta welcome! Team GOSH! first in followed by Team London Business School and in a tight race at the end Team Washington, DC, finishing third.

On board Team Washington, DC, Martin our brand advocate, wearing and really testing our ALPHA Surf watch, shared his experience of crossing the Atlantic...

"Compared to the brutality of the Bay of Biscay that was something very different. Lots of downwind sailing although the Doldrums were very hot and made sleeping difficult. Coming out of there we saw some lows and I have the boat speed record at the moment of 18.9 knots on a surf!"

"Another memorable part of the stage was helming with a pod of dolphins swimming beside the boat jumping in and out of the water!"

"We claimed third place with a damaged main sail. Amazing to think that it was so close after 5,300+ miles!"
