You've all heard a fair bit about my father, Ross Wootten. He was a shoemaker and a great bloke. He and my Mum met when they were in their early teens and travelled around the country, settting up a little craft store in Subiaco selling Dad's leatherwork, my Aunt's ceramics and Mum's Batik. Life would not be the same without the support of our mothers and I think my mum is pretty great. We should celebrate the amazing women in our lives: Mums, Grandmas, Nonnas, Aunts, Wives, Girlfriends and Sisters. Apparently there is a day in May where this is commonplace. Jump on the bandwagon!
