| | | Seeking solace in the mountains while our world is in flux... Six months ago, our coveted ski season came to a screeching halt in unprecedented times. Since then, ski areas far and wide have worked tirelessly and creatively to welcome us back this winter. What we at Spyder didn't completely think through was how, here in Boulder, positioning our WFH desks to face the Rockies would leave us staring between aspen leaves turning to gold/amber and the opening dates circled in our calendars at every free moment; anxiously awaiting the return of skiing. While nearly every aspect of our lives has been upended recently, and the world looks a whole lot different, there's comfort in seeing that the mountains haven't changed. Our local ski areas have begun making snow here in Colorado and, if anything's for certain, it's that carving turns into snow on a couple planks will always put our minds at ease. | | | Killington - Nov. 14
