As the seasons change here in the UK, Will gives us an update on his recent adventures.
Being a professional kayaker the tempo of his life is synchronised with the come and go of the seasons. Scottish summer flies past in a bustle of expeditions, coaching, logistics, cleaning and of course the occasional personal adventure. Winter on the other hand shuffles into a slower pace in line with the shortened daylight. | | As the seasons change here in the UK, Will gives us an update on his recent adventures.

"The past year I have had the pleasure of spending my winter by both returning to Patagonia and also Antarctica. I went to Patagonia to induct the next generation of guides and deliver a basic BCU course to the 2023/24 Kayak en Patagonia team." Will explains.
"After a Christmas back in Scotland, I headed back south, this time heading further into the lower latitudes by way of Antarctic work onboard the SH Vega, a small 140 passenger 'expedition' cruise ship. Predominantly a kayak guide in the icy waters shared with whales and penguins! Over three trips, each 12 days in length, we covered a significant area between the Weddell Sea and the Western fringe of the Antarctic peninsula."
Now back in Scotland for the summer season Will is keeping busy with his business Kayak Summer Isles, with several expeditions in the Outer Hebrides, and most excitingly his first international expedition to Greenland in August. With plenty of overnight and guided day trips in between and without a doubt a lot of personal adventures and challenges. | | "The past year I have had the pleasure of spending my winter by both returning to Patagonia and also Antarctica.
