Stoned, an Amsterdam based studio and workshop, creates some seriously beautiful marble pieces for your everyday use—they also know how to not take themselves too seriously. You’ll be easily impressed by their elegant everyday home goods and entertained by their approachable personalities. Learn more about the brand, their process, and inspiration in our interview with Stoned.

Much like how we at Favor see the importance of surrounding ourselves with quality objects, Derkan and John believe that implementing marble into the design of everyday household items helps elevate your daily life. They source all of their luxurious marble from the Eagean coast and the Turkish countryside; their green marble is imported from India.

“seeing the world in black and white may be a good thing in design, but not in daily life, right?”

When Derkan and John founded Stoned, they introduced a collection in black and white marble with success but felt the urge to create a collection with a more human approach. Around that time, they stumbled upon some amazing pink marble at one of their sourcing trips—the perfect color to underline diversity.
