We caught up with Spyder athlete and U.S. Ski Team member Steve Nyman and got the low down on what he does to stay in top shape before ski season. Step 1: Core. Your core is your foundation and can't be overlooked when it comes to getting in shape for skiing. 3 rounds fast paced: -Straight abs w barbell overhead. 15 times -Side plank twist hip hike. 10 times -Hanging opposite toe touches. 14 times -'Spyder-Man' crawls. 10 forward, 10 back. -Straight abs no roll (keep low back tight and upper chest straight). 15 times. -Push up star fish. 10 times. |
