Offering revolutionary products for work, home and play, Living Edge's new brand Les Basic have just been launched globally at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York City in May. This year marked the 29th annual ICFF NYC where more than 750 exhibitors from all around the globe displayed the latest trends in contemporary furniture, textiles, seating and numerous other amenities for residential and commercial interiors and exteriors. The launched range comprises seating, tables, modular sofa's, outdoor dining, lighting and clever accessories. According to Lotersztain the key values of the collection are authenticity, simplicity and responsibility. "These values are very closely related to millennial values of responsibility and balance between our tech world and something that still connects us emotionally," said Lotersztain. "The products are adaptable, modular and to a degree 'hackable'. They are products that allow you to be connected but not feel dependant." Favourites of the debut collection include: - The Wombat stuffed toy or foot rest, this quirky creature is made from recycled materials with a portion of proceeds going to the RSPCA in Australia;
- The Valet bedside table which also functions as a drink trolley;
- The Homework couch series which comes in 21 variations allowes for ultimate customisation and features built-in power outlets.
